Dress code
Suits and summer dresses according to your preference; drive past jeans, but if you find yourself in a top hat you’ve gone too far.
There are some hazards underfoot which may impact high-heel wearers: uneven ground, cobbles, and the 15 minute walk from church to brewery.
It’s also likely to be hot, as the Solstice will have just passed; if you are wearing a suit, there is no need to wait for Robbie to take his jacket off before you do. Linen may be a good idea if you’ve got it.
Times
Short version: 13:45 (church) until 23:00 (brewery).
Long version:–
> Please arrive at the Church from 13:45, the ceremony will start at 14:00.
> After the service, we will walk for fifteen minutes to the brewery to start the reception at 15:15. Guests may wish to drive or take a taxi; the journey on foot includes cobbled parts and stairs.
> Food will be served from 16:30.
> Speeches will happen at some point around 18:15.
> From 19:00, evening guests will arrive and pizzas from the pizza van downstairs will be available for those who get peckish.
> From 19:30, a rotating cast of guests will play some live music for about an hour.
> A DJ will then see us through to the end of the reception at 22:30.
